THOMAS Q. KEEFE, SR., (1915-1999) born November 15, 1915, died January 22, 1999. Founder of the firm. Graduated Quincy College; St. Louis University School of Law, 1953; licensed to practice in Missouri and Illinois; has been engaged exclusively in the practice of workers' compensation/occupational disease since 1955; supervisor of workers' compensation for six-state region for Michigan Mutual, 1953-55; Arbitrator for Illinois Industrial Commission on appointment from Governor Adlai Stevenson, 1949-53; served two terms as chairman of Illinois Bar Association Workers' Compensation Section; has contributed articles to University of Illinois Law Forum, State Bar Journal; served as faculty member of Illinois Institute for Continuing Legal Education and chapter author for IICLE Handbook on Workers' Compensation; member Illinois Bar Association, American Bar Association, International Association of Accident Boards and Commissions, International Association of Self-Insureds, Illinois Self-Insureds Association and Federation of Insurance Counsel.
