Born October 31, 1954. Married, three children, one grandchild. Graduated University of Notre Dame, BA degree in Modern Language, 1976; 45 hours towards Masters Degree in Journalism, University of Missouri-Columbia, 1976-77; St. Louis University School of Law, JD, 1987. Licensed to practice in Illinois and Missouri; AV rating in Martindale-Hubbell.

Arbitrator for Mandatory Arbitration Program 20th Judicial Circuit, St. Clair County; chapter author Illinois Institute for Continuing Legal Education Workers' Compensation Handbook, 1990- present.
